This is an undoctored screenshot from a few years ago on Hot or Not. I thought it was hilarious, so I saved it. Enjoy!

Hot or Not?
Saturday, May 28th, 2005Lords of Dogtown
Friday, May 27th, 2005
I was really skeptical when I started seeing Lords of Dogtown tv-spots. Is a fictionalization really necessary if there is already an excellent documentary. I looked into it and found out that the script for this movie was apparently written by the writer/director of the documentary, so I’m going to hold off judgment. They also got the production designer from Tank Girl to direct. That’s good right? I mean Naomi Watts survived that and it only took six more years for people to appreciate her.

Little guy was sitting on my door step when I came home monday evening. I live on the third floor, so I knew it was going to take some effort to get the bird outside. I approached the bird slowly with my arms outstretched attempting to shoo it towards the stairwell. Like the cows of my childhood… he went straight for the closed window (maybe it wasn’t like a cow). I wasn’t having any of this, so I just grabbed a trash bag and caught him pretty easily. Within moments he was outside with only minimal stress. The return linkage on the door had been broken. Well, I’m all shored up for good deeds for the rest of the year. expect the worst ;O)
Blogebrity
Wednesday, May 25th, 2005Well, it looks like I’m a B-list blogger. I wonder what it takes to get them to spell my name right. Of course that site is just designed to win a contest. I assume I’m just a filler name since they don’t even have my senior editor who’s a blogging machine.

So, I got my hackaday post done over lunch today, my first how-to went up on engadget and I was feeling pretty good so I decided to take it easy this evening. I’m going to be looking for a job soon and felt I should shave off the beard (It was also bugging me). Thrilling conclusion after the jump! (more…)
My New Job
Saturday, May 7th, 2005
Well, my first post just went live over at hackaday. That’s right, I am Weblogs, Inc. newest contributing editor. An honor truly worthy of a delicious sandwich. Not only am I getting paid for a hobby I love, but being a paid blogger puts me in the 99.95 percentile of nerddom. All your base… etc, etc.

Integrated Backpack
Monday, May 2nd, 2005
Picked this up over at Engadget. This backpack combines solar panels, ipod charging, soft controls, and a lapel microphone so you can use your bluetooth phone. I’d like it except it is a backpack. Build this into a Timbuk2 bag and you’d have to beat off hipsters with a stick. At least I’ll be able to put off buying an iPod even longer; I’m currently holding out for an ethernet dock with audio out.
