RobotSkirts goes legit

From the first days of this blog I tried not to associate it with myself. If you googled my name you wouldn’t find it. When I was hired at Engadget (a month after starting this blog) I used my new powers to retroactively remove RobotSkirts links from comments I had previously left.

I’ve decided to change though. All of my work is online and I want people looking for me to find me. I figure not fully disclosing now might bite back later. I bought eliotphillips.com last year, but now it forwards here instead of nowhere. I’ve also added a short author section in the sidebar (thanks for the picture Richard). While we’re in full disclosure mode here is: Facebook, MySpace, Flickr, Bloglines, and AIMPages.

I’ve been doing the opposite. I’ve begun deleting any posts from my blog that associate my name with any sort of opinion. Eventually I will even remove myself from the Internet Archive.
