The New York International Auto Show is coming up next week, but companies are already revealing their concepts. Why? With all of the manufacturers releasing concepts at a show it is hard to get good solid exposure so companies have started trickling out product lines in advance. Jalopnik has coverage of Nissan Sport Concept (I guess the guy who makes up the stupid names was out). I really like cars with these proportions, but this one is no Peugeot 206.

AutoWeek has a short blurb on Koenigsegg unseating the legendary McLaren F1. Hitting a top speed of 241.01 mph it cleared the 1993 record by only 0.69 mph. The CCR has a 4.7 liter 32 valve V8 powerplant. With the standard twin super chargers it puts out 806bhp. Fresh change of underwear comes standard.
